The Association offers the following benefits to members:

Member registration - become part of the industry network and included in the community.

Identity - a focus for the development of the industry, providing substance, a point and means of contact and a degree of authority speaking on behalf of the industry.

A network - support for members:

• through newsletters, formal and informal events,
• to establish links with related businesses
• via forums for different kinds of organisations (businesses, academia, TAFEs and the like).

Marketing of the industry as a whole, raising its profile and simplifying the marketing of the individual businesses so that the community as a whole, and potential users in particular, are aware of the industry and its services.

Liaison - representation to other bodies and organisations outside the Network such as:

• government agencies including Multimedia Victoria and the Department of Education,
• other Associations, and
• the wider user community both in Victoria, interstate and overseas.
